Meditate every day!

The simplest thing to focus on is your breath. Be mindful of your breath at
least once a day. While driving, while doing dishes, pick on time of the day and be cognisant of your inhale and exhale. By bringing awareness into one part of your day with breath, you may begin to develop awareness in other parts of your life. You may realize that you need to slow down the pace of your life. Once this daily practise becomes normal, then you can bring this type of clarity or presence into any type of physical activity such as running, swimming, fishing, walking or golfing. You can also bring it into simple daily tasks such as folding laundry, washing dishes, gardening, or preparing meals.
A lot can be accomplished when you simply sit with your breath. Do not look at how much time passes and know that even a
few minutes can be beneficial for cultivating quiet. For more information on how to develop a meditative practise, please contact Stephanie.
