Absolute Beginners:
This series is designed exclusively for new students and students lost in a regular yoga class. You will learn the fundamentals of yoga postures and breathing techniques. Gain insight into the principles of yoga philosophy and cultivate inner body awareness to guide your practice. The supportive environment of this class will provide you with the necessary foundation to develop a safe and rewarding yoga practice.
Hatha basics:
An introduction to yoga. A break down of yoga poses, designed to reduce stress, increase energy, stretch and strengthen muscles and encourage mindfulness of breath. Each instructor offers their own unique touch which may include standing, balancing, seated, and inverted postures.
Vinyasa flow: Appropriate for all levels.
An energizing full body work out. A version of Hatha Yoga that is more aerobic than a traditional class. This class combines sun salutations with standing postures. A great mix of stretching and strengthening. Each pose flows fluidly and dynamically into the next connecting the breath with the movement. Modifications will be provided to enhance flexibility, alignment, and strength in order to make this class accessible for all. Connecting the breath with the movement of the body during the flow of yoga also helps to deepen the stretch.
Yin: APPROPRIATE FOR The sore, stiff and Tired.
This series will provide work on flexibility and relaxation. A meditative practice, which addresses the “yin” parts of the body; the connective tissues. Unlike the muscles, defined as the “yang” parts of the body that are stimulated and strengthened by movement and repetition, the “yin” parts, or connective tissues, respond and grow stronger when subject to gentle sustained stimulation. In terms of yoga practice, this means holding floor postures for 3 to 5 minutes while working on relaxing the muscles completely. Learn to functionally and intelligently release tension and restricted mobility from sports, weight lifting, or simply neglect – and witness the results as you dissolve stress patterns and awaken to a stronger, more flexible, body and mind.
Sweet dreams: Appropriate for all levels.
Bring balance back into your week. This is a great stress reduction class, a meditative flow to calm mind and body. This class includes restorative yoga poses, breath-work, guided meditation, and relaxation.
Not Your Daughters Yoga Class : Appropriate for all Women.
Experience deeply nourishing restorative poses to rest the body, quiet the nervous system and connect to your breath. Learn vital stress reduction techniques to tap into your natural flow of energy. Learn breathing techniques designed to cultivate a deep inner stillness and calm. Learn restorative and necessary yoga poses designed to help the body balance hormones, strengthen the pelvic floor, and stimulate endorphins.
Prenatal: APPROPRIATE FOR ALL stages of Pregnancy
This series will include: flexibility work to create a healthy range-of-motion in joints and muscles, strength work to properly challenge and nourish your rapidly changing body and develop body-breath connection to create better awareness. Focused to help to cultivate calmness and confidence in preparation for labour and childbirth. You will also be encourage to start a home sequence that can be practised on your own or with your partner.

Post natal: For Moms and Babies from 3 weeks to one year (or Walking)
Regain your strength and embrace your new life as a mom. This class addresses common post-partum concerns such as neck, back, and pelvic strengthening. Begin to regain your pre-pregnancy body while bonding with your beautiful baby.
Little ones: For Children ages 2-5.
Introduce your little one to the joys of yoga, while participating together in a program that incorporates the mind, body and breath. Yoga poses, and quiet reflections are incorporated in each class through play and movement. We will wag our tails in downward facing dog, roar like a lion and grow strong and brave like a warrior. Yoga is an opportunity for children to seek balance and quiet in their busy little lives while improving whole body health.
