At In Balance we know the key to health is through active living. In Balance Yoga is a combination of yoga, strength training, meditation and awareness. The goal is to teach people to become aware of their breath, body and thoughts. Everyone, despite age or physicality, can practice yoga. You will learn to listen to your body. You will become aware of how you sit, stand, sleep, walk and breathe. We believe in quality over quantity.

YOGA 101 This series is designed for everyone! New students, students lost in a regular yoga class and regular yoga practitioners. You will learn fundamentals of yoga postures and breathing techniques. Listen to your body, become aware of how you sit, stand, sleep, walk and breathe. Change your body but most importantly your brain with regular yoga practice. Reduce stress and cultivate inner body awareness to guide your practice. The supportive environment of this class will provide you with the necessary foundation to develop a safe and rewarding yoga practice.
