Improve your Locomotion

The hip and knee represent the locomotive system of our bodies. If you want to get from one place to another or from one yoga pose to another, the hip and knee are always involved as they move, stabilize,  integrate and help us find more freedom. 
Our lifestyles can cause us to habitually move in certain ways that cause hip dysfunction. When range of motion is limited in the hips, whether from sitting or driving for some or all of the day, it can sometimes result in tightness, discomfort or pain in the joint or surrounding muscles. Tight hip flexors or hamstrings are just a few factors that can affect the positioning of the pelvis and if movement and mobility isn't restored, the tightness can affect the knees and low back.

In this workshop, we will stabilize and then safely open the hip joint to create a sense of grace and ease as we move. 

No previous yoga experience is required. Pre-registration is required.

MAXIMUM OF 16 PARTICIPANTS PER WORKSHOP TO ENSURE QUALITY INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION IS PROVIDED.
