Non- custom products vs. Custom orthotics

Non-custom orthotics can go right from its package and straight into your shoes.  They are "pre-fabricated" to fit the average foot shape and are sized by shoe size.   Some products can be modified to provide a more personal fit or additional support.  One of the major benefits to choosing non-custom products is the cost.  At approximately 10 percent the cost of custom orthotics, non-custom orthotics are an affordable option.

Custom orthotics

Custom orthotics are designed to provide corrections to the biomechanical function of your feet, when more support or control is required.  Orthotics are made by taking a three dimensional cast of the foot, and then using specific materials to mold an exact custom insert.  Although custom orthotics cost more they last three to five times longer and are specifically designed for your biomechanical demands.
